This lamp reinterprets traditional techniques of washi paper and earthen walls, which have long been used in Japanese homes.
The shade is made of washi paper soaked in wax, incorporating both weaving and knitting.
The base is finished with a unique plastering technique using layers of soap, oil, and wax.
